What is your ‘dream home’…?

One of the best things about setting up home once you are either newly married, out on your own from under Mum and Dad’s influence or simply having bought your very first house is the process of actually building your own house on your own piece of land.

Nothing compares to it. Seeing your Home Plans grow from start to finish; from that time you select your ‘bit of earth’ to the time you buy it, own it and then start deciding what form your House Plans will take. Maybe you have known what you have wanted for a long time…or maybe you are open to suggestion…?

Many people these days are opting for the natural, rustic look - this is very popular and a trend which will never go out of fashion. Using all natural materials and an environmentally friendly theme Log home plans are becoming the choice of many a house builder - both young and…well, everything after.

That dream home of yours is not just in your dreams anymore.

Spent money on Friends Reunited?

Posted by Wendy under Blogging

Well, now it seems the website has seen a few changes of late. Whereby before you had to pay a subscription to contact your old mates via their system, now you can do it for nothing.

Before, even if you had paid your yearly fee, any attempt at entering a private email address in your private messaging system was nixxed by their software. I mean, how many different ways can you phonetically spell out an email address…?

No need to worry anymore. You can now use their system to contact your old school/work mates so take advantage of it - but remember one thing - if you are happy with your life as it is then maybe it is best to keep it that way and leave some people relegated to the past…where they belong.

Bingo has long been a very popular game within the community - when you think about it it filled a very important social gap in that it gave people the chance to get together, meet other’s and have some fun along the way.

Nowadays bingo is a whole new ball game with the advent of the internet and the number of sites offering people the chance to play the game online is staggering. Let’s take a look at a one site in particular and what it offers to players.

BingoPort is UK based and is aimed primarily at a UK audience; it is a very visual site though unlike many with image-based formats this site loads quickly and has a good mix of text and images. The best way to use the site on arrival is to simply start at the top and scroll down - take time to read the main text and then spend some time viewing the sidebar contents as that is where you find the various games on offer.

This site reviews other sites and has a 24 hour monitoring of all the different games and players. At present there are 33 game sites under review - once again all UK based - and a very comprehensive overview of all your game options including free bingo , promotions, port points and bingo bonus.

I like the inclusion of a forum which provides an ‘online’ form of the social contact people enjoyed when they went out to actually play the game in the local church/community hall. Modern day bingo indeed…

Here’s another aspect of the site which offers a community type feel to the experience; an online newsletter which is designed to keep regulars up to date. There’s a lot of positive feedback about players and their winning experiences which, of course, is designed to encourage people to join up and join in but also demonstrates how very popular this particular site has become.

If you are an experienced online bingo player you wont have any problems at all navigating the site and sorting through all the relevant info; newbies might be just a little overwhelmed by the number of different bonuses, games, etc all laid out on the homepage - but I doubt this will put anyone off as it is a great looking site and does not go overboard with all that annoying flashing imagery.

One last thing: if you are a fan of ITV’s new show Bingo Night Live you will find all the relevant information on site here which explains how you can register, download your cards and participate.
