Everytime you see a celebrity female these days they all seem to be carrying the latest fashion ‘must have’…one of those vitamin-charged bottle’s of spring water. Ever seen the price of them…? it appears only the rich and famous can afford to buy it – and it has even been promoted as a liquid diet pill in a bottle.

Many diets tell you that drinking loads of water will help to flush away those excess pounds. Fact is that it won’t. Drinking a large amount of water each day might benefit your kidneys, but taking it too far and consuming several litres a day has even been proved to be dangerous to the point of causing brain damage and even death. Doing so causes a severe drop in salt levels in your brain – and maintaining correct levels of salt are vital to brain function.

So don’t be fooled girls. Water is simply just H2O; it goes in one end and quickly goes out the other – it doesn’t take the fat along with it. Portion control, lower fat/sugar intake plus moving around more will shift the pounds though.

Talking about credit cards in the present economic climate might be the last thing that most people want to do. But the fact remains that, despite the current global credit crunch, businesses still need the facility of a line of credit and that especially includes those who maintain a fleet of cars.

Rising fuel costs are suffocating those businesses right now so it probably helps to find options where a gas purchase card can actually save fleet managers some money on their fuel costs. Being able to save even 5 per cent in this regard can mean all the difference between make or break. And it is getting to that stage for many business owners right now.
