Everything in the shops is at rock bottom prices? there is a massive store sale at one of my favourite boutiques right now and I am not in the position to go rushing in with my wallet. But there are sales everywhere at the moment and I am seeing some great bargains so it is really tempting.

Very frustrating…I am working my butt off lately but not seeing much profit for it. And all those nice clothes and shoes are being bought by other people!

Most French would applaud that headline…alot of Spanish too I would guess. But it has turned out that British people are opting to take their summer vacation for 2009 at home in the UK rather than bother with tired old France and the increasingly hostile and anti-British Spain. Ask any expat who has packed up and left both places and see what I mean…

But it is because of the economy that Brits are not wasting their pounds in Europe right now, even the USA offers Vegas vacations at a far better price than mainland Europe and your pounds go further. We have noticed that this year even the Americans are not travelling to France as they used to, the euro exchange just is not worth it.

I think it is nice that British kids are getting the chance to discover the delights of their own country though through holidaying with the family ‘at home’ rather than abroad.

One interesting aspect about the increasing numbers of people opting for cosmetic procedures is the option they all have of going ‘away’ for their work to be done. More often now cosmetic surgery plus a vacation can be combined into a package which makes the idea very attractive.

British women tend to lean towards European destinations for their choice but in the USA Texas is one of the popular destinations for patients; even dentistry- a Plano Dentist for example where you can get your teeth looking better than you ever expected.

Cosmetic procedures are no longer talked about under a veil, everyone considers having some work at some stage and with the costs being more affordable then why not???
