Well, have finally put the rubber stamp on the last invoice and closed the guest book – we have waved goodbye to our last guests. We are now officially not hotel owners anymore.
And thank god for that!
I have cleaned my last room, I have served my last breakfast. I have put the room keys away and turned off the room heating for the last time. It feels really good to know I wont have to rise at 6am for people who wanted to eat early but who will sleep in and not show for their breakfast until ten.
It will be my turn to sleep in – for a while anyway
