Build it yourself and save a bundle

My brother-in-law happens to be one of those people who can build just about anything and make it work. Now, he hasn’t exactly built himself his own car but when anything has gone wrong with one of his vehicles he has always been able to fix the problem himself. He wont hear of taking his car to the mechanic. It has saved him a lot of money over the years.

This year he decided he wanted his own boat – nothing huge - with a small cabin and enough space for six people and has just launched it on Sydney Harbour. It hasn’t sunk yet…fingers crossed.

His project for next year is…wait for this…a snowmobile. They want to visit the snowfields in southern NSW next June and of course Alan wants his own to whoosh over the snow on. He’s started buying all the odds and ends and only has to get hold of a snowmobile exhaust to complete the shopping list.

With the way the weather is going these days if he waits long enough he can use it in his backyard!
