Chemical storage – a safer option.

If you are like us you will have a garage – or garden shed – with shelves stacked with lots of old paint tins containing all manner of liquids, nails, screws, etc. Men tend to collect them over the years. Rather than just pouring things into an old paint tin as most of us tend to do, there’s the option of using a stainless steel drum these days which can be stored more effectively.

Obviously they will come in all kinds of sizes and are usually designed for industrial use but there’s an interesting amount of industrial chemicals in most of our homes these days. Some of those things will simply eat through your normal paint tins as some people have found to their detriment.
