Do affiliates work…?

People use different web tools for marketing their website so that they can earn money and make a tidy little profit from, for instance, their blog. A while back we used an affiliate marketing program from Amazon so that if anyone clicked on the link we got paid a dividend if they click through resulted in someone making a purchase on Amazon.

Depending on what kind of site you host you can either make a nice amount of money doing this or you will find, like us, that it really is not worth the trouble. One of our sites still has the Amazon feature but I’d say we have made about $2.00 from it over five years.
