Ensure your computer does not suffer ‘memory lapse’.

Whether you run your business from the home or out at the office the one piece of machinery your life will depend on without any doubt is your computer. And of course the engine room of that great little piece of technology is the memory or RAM.

There is one golden rule with regards to how much memory your computer needs; more is best, less is bad. Once your PC starts to slug along and drag it’s feet it is time to upgrade – particularly if you use a laptop for when you are on the move.  RAM is not standard and, for example, you will need to upgrade your laptop memory  specifically to your own particular brand of laptop computer. How much do you need ? – depending upon your requirements 2 GB or more is needed for optimal performance especially when using graphical and multi-media programs.

Just think how far this technology has come; back in 1981 when talking about computer memory Bill Gates once said ” 640K – half of a megabyte – ought to be enough for anybody “.
