“I’d like to kiss you but I just washed my hair”

Just for a bit of fun have a think about the art of the pick up line; it is safe to say that many of us girls have heard most of them from A to Z and it is the truly awful one’s which refuse to go away. I reckon Hollywood though has given us the best one-liners in that area and actresses like Lauren Bacall :

” You know how to whistle don’t you Steve? you just put your lips together and blow”

Then you have that great dame Bette Davis:

” I’d like to kiss you but I just washed my hair”…

I wonder though if any of us mere mortal women would get away with any of these wonderful lines - and I wonder if Bette would have gone and used Extreme Style by VO5 after turning down handsome Leslie Howard…? most of us though need some help in this area and these days it’s often the girls who make the initial approach to the guys – how about trying this out for size?…

Those legendary ladies of Hollywood had no problems getting the man of their dreams with the kind of Victory Hair that women like Rita Hayworth and Hedy Lamarr had. It might be hard to compete in the Ultimate Flirting Championship against a glamourous Marilyn Monroe or Elizabeth Taylor but you could still give it a try !
