Outwit the supermarkets

Don’t you sometimes wonder why identical products cost slightly more or less depending which supermarket you visit? I noticed this back in Australia, example; one packet of cake mix would cost, say, $2.25 in Woolies at Brookvale. The exact same item, 15 km’s away in another Woolies would cost $2.40…why?

Nevermind why I suppose as that’s the way it goes, but I have found a great little site where you can go online and check out the prices at four of the biggest UK supermarkets before you set out and do your shopping.

MySupermarket has proved very popular with shoppers who wish to save money and source where the best place to shop is. There’s also suggestions as to how you can swap a particular item for a like-item which costs considerably less. Have a look and see if you can come out on top this week.
