Renovating the whole house: part one of a saga.

We have decided to renovate the entire property we live in. That includes the house as well as the front and back gardens but we are taking things one at a time for now. We started by doing things from top to bottom – we have just finished having the roof re-pointed and re-tiled so that it does not leak.

Now we are tackling the bathroom and then it will be the living room. We spend a lot of time as a family in the living room and we need new accessories such as tv stands and tables and chairs. New carpets as well although I am considering having the floors tiled and paved rather than covered with carpeting.

Having lived in France I like the Med look…
