The dream diet pill that can kill.

In the past twelve months two particular diet pills received a lot of publicity for their so-called ability to actually cause you to lose weight. One of them – Alli – seemed like a dream come true for the masses as it could be bought over the counter despite it’s rather pricey cost. I know people who took that after trying what they had thought were the best diet pills on the market only to find thtat they really only had any effect on the grossly obese.

The other, Reductil, was available only on prescription and the taker had to be regularly monitored by a doctor due to it’s effect on blood pressure – it can cause it to rise markedly. Many people who doctors had refused to prescribe it to, for whatever reason, turned to the internet to buy it often being ripped off with placebos and others suffering heart problems. Some people have died. Australia now has taken Reductil off the market until further tests have been undertaken – this pill can cause very high blood pressure in people who already have it.Don’t be tempted to buy it online – you don’t know what you are getting and if your doctor would not give it to you it was for a very good reason…it could kill you.
