There is no doubt that the Christmas period is a wonderful time where you can just throw caution to the wind and just eat and drink to your heart’s delight. We all do it – nobody in their right mind goes on a diet in December because there are simply too many good times to be had…live it up and do the diet in the new year, right?
The problem is that all those late nights, the partying, the rich food and generous amounts of booze will be showing up on your face and in your complexion. If you are an acne sufferer you will probably be suffering more than most as festive season foods tend to be triggers for acne. Invest in some good acne products if you haven’t already and even though I am not a major fan of intensive detoxing a couple of days of light snacks and water/juices wont do you any harm. If you haven’t gone back to work yet then grab the chance and get yourself and your health sorted before you do – then prepare to go off the rails again at Easter
