The PC dies right before Xmas.

We bought the teenager in our home his first laptop of his very own last year for his 16th birthday and since then it has seen some serious usage – he’s on it before school and straight onto it as soon as he hits the door in the afternoon. Granted he does most of his homework on it but it appears as though time has taken it’s toll. It’s died.

Good timing too – right before Xmas – but it will have to wait until the new year before we can consider a new computer for him. He wants something more substantial this time round as he wants to play world of warcraft online and he was unable to do that on his laptop, not along the lines of an industrial rack mount PC but one with more guts to it.

So here’s looking forward to the bargain sales in January!
