Who should go in the NHS sackings – management or ground staff…?

Many would agree that the NHS is in drastic need of an overhaul in just about every department. Govt figures show that budget cuts are needed to save money being wasted but just where will these cuts hit the most…?

The NHS is vastly understaffed at the lower end; more nurses, midwives and doctors are needed desperately while it would do more good than harm to cut the numbers working in management and administration. ‘Management Consultants’ have advised the Govt that staff cuts will be necessary – no doubt they will get this terribly wrong and cut staffing where it is needed the most.

Management Consultants…just who are these people and how much are they being paid to wreak even more havoc on our health system? get rid of the consultants and employ more nurses and doctors – BRITISH TRAINED one’s at that!
