Would you travel by plane if you did not have to…?

If you had to travel on business from London to New York and were not pressed for time would you consider travelling by ship…? many people would according to a new survey. And you can understand their reasoning. Who would subject themselves to being encased in an airborn steel missile with barely a few feet of space per passenger if they did not have to…?

If air travel always has the influence of an appetite suppressant on you – it certainly does to me, I hate it – you would probably much rather travel by cruise than fly. People fly not because they want to but because they have to; it is cheaper than by sea and infinitely faster. Cruise travel – the only way to travel abroad before passenger planes became viable – have become too expensive but if the costs were less, and the trip a speedier one, that would be the way to go.
